LITEWAVE® a proprietary material developed at the Meuble manufacturing plant in Okawa, Fukuoka. It is the brand name for a 100% polyethylene resin-derived, highly resilient latticed cushion material that is water-washable, highly air permeable and highly resistant to becoming saggy, flattened, or otherwise deformed. This makes it well-suited to not just its original purpose in mattresses, but also a variety of use cases. LITEWAVE has also received attention from the SDGs community for being made from sustainable materials, and research is being conducted to further broaden its potential applications.

The materials LITEWAVE is made of are safe to dispose of as burnable waste.
They are ecologically friendly and do not release dioxins or other hazardous materials when burnt.
We are also developing processes to collect old waste material and reuse it in new products.

Superb Support

LITEWAVE is made using strong yet supple polyethylene, which is better able to support the body than urethane or polyester-based materials.
This means that you can toss and turn in your sleep in comfort, without the unpleasant noises commonly made by other air mattresses.

Sleep Dry and Fresh

We sweat quite a bit as we sleep. The polyethylene resin used in LITEWAVE is highly water resistant, meaning that less moisture builds up during a long night's sleep compared to materials used in other mattresses. This means you can stay fresh and comfortable through to the morning.

Fast Drying

Mattresses are typically large, heavy, and cannot be taken apart.
As a result, they cannot be hung to air out, let alone washed, and with time they are likely to become dirty due to dust and allergen buildup. LITEWAVE products, on the other hand, have removable outer covers and water-washable insides, and their air permeability lets them dry quickly and thus stay cleaner longer.

Difficult to Deform

LITEWAVE has been tested for resilience to meet JIS (Japan Industrial Standards Committee) specifications. After the material was compressed to half thickness 80,000 times in a row, it still regained over 93% of its original thickness. This proves that the material is well-suited for long-term use.
